The Graduate Program in Biotechnology and Biodiversity - Doctorate Level - of the Pró-Centro-Oeste Network has a curricular grid directed to the training of doctors able to perform activities of innovation, research and technological development, such as the generation of new products, planning, biological process control, advice, regulation and inspection, or any other activity in which biotechnology and biodiversity knowledge play essential roles. Course subjects take place every semester in the form of condensed modules. Although the subjects are taught in face-to-face mode, the videoconferencing feature can be used when necessary. Due to the different formations of the students, students and counselors will define which subjects will be compose the 30 credits required by the Program. Only two subjects, "Biodiversity" and "Biotechnology" are compulsory, the others are optional.
